Ted graduated from Greenwood, Callanan and Roosevelt Schools in Des Moines. Ted earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Northern Iowa majoring in Psychology. He studied Massage Therapy at Heartwood Institute in Northern California, and completed the Advanced Massage Therapist & the Holistic Health Practitioner programs. Ted was class Valedictorian at Heartwood. He studied Swedish, Deep Tissue, Zen Shiatsu and Polarity Therapy. The emphasis at Heartwood was sensitivity and compassion through touch.
Practicing since 1998 Ted integrates massage therapy modalities to meet each client’s needs. In 2007 Ted was awarded "Best Massage Therapist" in City View’s Best of Des Moines and runner up in 2008.

Leslie Cook has been a practicing, licensed massage therapist (LMT) since 1999. She is a graduate of Cottonwood School of Massage in Aurora, Colorado, and a member of the International Massage Association.
Leslie is the recipient of the Cityview Best Massage Therapist award in 2004 and 2006. She specializes in combining the techniques of Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, neuro-muscular therapy and Cranio-Sacral therapy for a customized approach unique to each client.
The use of therapeutic essential oils is included as an integral part of each session. Other techniques available through The Magic Touch include Raindrop Technique ® and Myofascial Release.
Leslie also performs animal energy balancing for dogs and horses and is a distributor of Young Living® therapeutic grade essential oils and toxin-free personal care products.
