As owner of Fitness By Design, I welcome you to our website. I hope you find it informative, positive and motivating. Those three words describe exactly what we do every day as personal trainers.

During each session with our clients, we strive to be educators, motivators and positive role models. Improving your health is fun and exciting and we would love to share our ideas and expertise with you! Our private studio setting allows you to create the kind of atmosphere you like for your workout- including the type of music, and temperature you prefer!

“Fitness is a journey, not a destination!”
This is my favorite fitness quote! Imagine yourself getting ready to take a long drive to a far away place you have never visited before. A vacation, a journey with some unknowns along the way. Of course you would take along a detailed map with directions and a full tank of fuel. Since you are not in a hurry, you may even allow yourself time to stop and see some sights that are not on your route. When you finally arrive, you will turn around to come home and already be planning your next trip to a new place.

Your fitness journey is very similar to that car ride! Your vacation city is your fitness goal and we are your map. Your journey may be cross-country or just across town. As personal trainers, it is our job to give you detailed instructions on how to reach your short- and long-term goals. Along the way, you will need to fuel yourself properly and have a positive attitude. When you reach a short-term goal, then you pick a new vacation spot, get a new map and start driving!

Why use a Personal Trainer?
Good question! One with as many answers as the number of people you ask. Many clients realize after only a few sessions that it is extremely helpful to have that detailed map in front of you while driving.
